Hey all, someone asked me about buying off amazon.com and here is my answer about duties and customs. Anyone ever been charged? I have not and bought texts and books, shoes, necklace, watch, iphone cases, mousepad for mac computer...

I've puchased many times from amazon.com and never had to pay duties. However, one time i got a watch cuz it was way cheaper on the US site but then got charged a weird $15 COD. I paid it but then complained asking what this was, it was charged by the company that shipped it from ontario to BC, although i had paid for shipping (using my GC money) when I paid for the product which i suspect paid for the route from US to Canada. I complained through the website to the company and they refunded the $15. They were nice. That was the only time I've had an issue, although the other times thing were cheaper. But i never got charged even buyng hundred dollar text books? Maybe you can try but refuse to pick it up if you're being asked to pay duties?

Recently, i've also been having amazon.com ship to my hotel when I visit the states and i've done that 4 times with no problems. I put under my name, hold for guest (and put the dates). Hope that helps. I'm going to put this post on the thread so you can see others' experiences.

No, tournaments are different.

Try to play Crusher, play it for at least 2 minutes, do not submit your score, click on "back to games" and you will get 2sb after every two games played.
