So is it just me or is the hardest part of couponing waiting for a good sale to use your coupons on?

I got my latest batch of Websaver and Brandsaver coupons in the mail the last few days and can't wait to combine them with the insert coupons... In my perfect newbie world Greenworks would always be on sale for $1.99 (I love that stuff )

I am just starting out and my stockpile is still small so I am chomping at the bit to do a really big shop. I am still new enough at this to be excited by free deodorant and body wash.

I put together a few stacks this past week for LD but both the stores I went to were sold out of everything...so frustrating! Note to self: go on Fri/Sat- don't wait till Monday.

What are you waiting to go on sale so you can get it for free/close to free???

Waiting on the sales is hard! But for me it's also hard getting the coupons in time for the sales...it seems like something will be on sale and my coupons that I've ordered/asked for haven't arrived yet! Some day I hope I'll be more organized and ready!

I know that feeling! I want hair dye right now, since I just got a pgbrandsaver envie in the mail, but I'm not paying anything more than tax for it, so I'm sitting and twiddling my thumbs until I find a deal.
Other stuff I'm waiting on is Head and shoulders, covergirl, razors, old spice deo, men's grooming items, and basically anything I have a coupon/small coupon stack for that wouldn't cover the price unless it was a very good sale.

BE AWARE that LD will allow you to put items on hold or on order, I don't know if they'll do it on an order with one of each item, but you could ask. When the next shipment comes in they can hold them for you at the sale price advertised at the time you put in the order. I did this with 4 packs of razors, and many others have done it with shaving cream, deodorant, etc.

No kidding. I have been caught digging through my recycling at bedtime the night before a coupon expires because I threw it away thinking why bother.

Waiting was really hard for me, too when I had my first batch of coupons. After just a few months though that I have that it really pays to wait for items to go on sale. The manager of my local London Drugs store told me this week that he can (and does) place two stock orders per week. So, if something is sold out on Monday, don't give up. It may be the least favourable day of the week to go shopping after the big week-end rush.

Thanks for the heads up on pre-ordering..and to the fact that Mondays might be the worst day at LD...

It is hard but I am going to hang tight and wait for the right sale(s) to come along...and then I will stack my way to coupon heaven. In the meantime I am going to focus on trading/collecting....

This is the hard part indeed.

Where do they sell Greenworks for 1.99$?

Shoppers had them (wipes and cleaners) for $1.99 back in Dec.
It was a dream for a Greenworks addict like me
