the old guy probably lived alone...hence the dog and ographic movie...
the old guy probably had no money...hence the robber taped him yanking one out, so he could sell it online.
the robber needed money to buy more shrooms...since he fed them to the dog
the dog died since it over dosed...lets face it you'd probably die too if you ate a handful of shrooms
