    I am not a fan of canadian tire ... but I shop there only when there is a sale or the item there is cheaper then others and it has something i need.

    I've heard tons of crappy reviews for the automotive service

    Same here .... summer/fall/spring I try to maintain my car myself with the easy stuff [oil change, spark plugs, etc] and if I have something major, I go to my mechanic brother ...*yey* for paying wholesale price and no labour

    My gullible poor Mom took her truck to CT - almost 6 grand later & all they can tell her now is oh, you'll need to see a specialist for your Transmission. Even though it originally had NOTHING to do with her Transmission.

    those sort of stories really irk me.. they're totally taking advantage of people who don't know better i like canadian tire, i just hate their shady mechanics
