Any luck pricematching?

hi there,
I've priced matched at London Drugs before from a safeway flyer...the young fella there said that they will price match anything from any flyer as long as it was current. sometimes I've gotten a clerk though that won't price match if the competetor store have sold out the item. kinda dumb? either u price match or you don't you figure?!?!

the concept of 'pricematching' is to save you, 'their' loyal customer, the hassle of driving over to the other store to buy item "X"......

If the other store doesn't have any quantity of "X" on the shelf, they don't need to pricematch, as you wouldn't be able to obtain it at the other store anyways.
