I wish I knew the secret to getting referrals - I have the link in my siggy, on my website, on my blog, and I have the link to my website on twitter...and even with all that, I get nuthin'.

I don't know what else to do - I feel invisible - some of you have referrals lining up round the bend, and they keep coming and coming...walking past me like I'm not even there.

It gets depressing - sometimes I wonder if there's a website called don'tsignuptoswagbuckswithtvwatcher.com. LOL

I have a few referrals but they only get 1 or 2 sb and then they give up i guess.....it's too bad they give up so soon, wish they'd pm me for help....oh well, all we can do is keep searching for ourselves and helping each other

That's a good question, off our demographics, what we search, what we buy with the gift cards that they send us... advertising.. etc.

Would someone explain how they would make money off of us? I was wondering this for awhile now.

1. Traffic on the site (more people, more advertisement money, more persons completing special offers ect

2. Special Offers, they have deals with stores or compagnies and everytime you do a special offer or a task the store pays an amount of money to Swagbucks (thats why i think the tasks are the biggest ripoff in the history of the internet, 3 bucks for 60 mins? really? 60 mins is like 9$ minimum wage in canada, im not against making money on the site but when the side takes 60 mins - forget it

Really there's plenty a way a succesfull website can make money if the word to mouth is good for them (which it is with referrals) there shouldnt be a limit to referrals in my opinion

Swagbucks is the 420th most visited sites from Americans and 510th in Canada thats huge revenues from ads and deals and traffic

Yep

1. Referring someone is hard

2. Keeping them on the site is hard

3. Currently the limit is basically 10$ if you happen to do both #1 #2 which is really hard
