help with facebook freebies

after you have "liked" the facebook page... days later can you " unlike " them... my facebook looks like my spam box

yes, you can like them, get your freebie and immediately unlike them if you want to, or at least any i've come across

next time you get something from a company you don't want to hear from, mouse over the post and in the top right corner you should get a menu and you can basically 'hide' all posts from that company.

that's what i do.

on the left hand side menu, there are usually lots of boxes, scroll down past them and there is an unlike button

However, companies do giveaways to get people so the more people that unlike them, the less likely they are to actually do giveaways

yep u can unlike any fan page u want and relike them at any time.

YOu can also remove the app from your facebook account

Go in your account (hight right corner)
Click Privacy setting
In the low left corner you'll see APPS AND WEBSITES click edit your settings
click apps you use (edit settings)
then click on each app you want to remove and click REMOVE APP in the high right corner.

Hope this is clear, sorry its difficult to explain this in english ;-)

I have a facebook accout just for contests and freebies - so I don't mind all the posts - I quickly glance through them to see if anyone is offering a freebie, then minimize the window, and maybe check later

I do this too. I also do it to all the silly game notices that people have, like farmville.

That's a great idea. What I do is I "unlike" the company after the freebies come in the mail.

Good to know. Doesnt really bother me though. I just "hide" all this pages and groups after I'm done getting my freebie!
