Coupon Inserts in area newspapers

I was wondering if anyone can tell me which newspapers carry the SmartSource, Red Plum, Brandsaver inserts for the following communities:

* Nanaimo
~ Nanaimo Daily Times (daily for $) - Smart Source (Friday newspaper)
~ Nanaimo Star - Smart Source

* Port Alberni
~ Alberni Valley Times (daily newspaper for $1) - P&G Brandsaver
~ Alberni Valley News (free newspaper on Fridays) - Red Plum
~ The Pennyworth (free newspaper on Thursdays) - Smart Source

* Parksville/Qualicum Beach
~ The Oceanside Star (free newspaper on Wednesdays) - Red Plum
~ The Parksville/Qualicum News (free newspaper on Tuesdays and Fridays) - Smart Source (Tuesday newspaper)

* Cowichan Valley (Duncan, Cobble Hill and Crofton and Chemainus) and Ladysmith
~ News Leader (free newspaper on Fridays) - Smart Source
~ Citizen (free newspaper on Fridays) - Smart Source
~ News Leader Pictorial (free newspaper on Wednesdays and Fridays) - P&G Brandsaver

* Courtenay/Comox
~ Comox Valley Echo - Smart Source

Perhaps if people added in their newspaper this could be a good resource list for those in the mid-Island region. (It would also be handy to know if it is a free or pay newspaper.)

I've also posted this in the "Comox Valley Couponers" group so if I see any additions there then I will make sure to update it here too!

In Parksville it is The Oceanside Star and The Parksville/Qualicum News. I live near an area where the papers just get dumped and rarely all get taken...yay for extras.

I don't know sorry, but there was nothing in today's paper, I do know that! I was hoping. Each of the paper's only come 2 days per week. I will start paying attention as to which coupon flyer comes with which paper!

The Smart Source Insert comes in the Comox Valley Echo, the Red Plum and P&G Brandsaver Inserts come in the Comox Valley Record.

I just got the Smartsource tonight it was in the News Leader...free paper on Fridays
OOps I forgot to say thats for the Cowichan Valley, so available in Duncan, Cobble Hill and Crofton and Chemainus.
Also available at the 49th Parallel grocery store paper box in Ladysmith, just outside their front doors.

Today, I got Smartsource in the Citizen, a free paper in Duncan, and previously I've gotten the P & G Brandsaver in the News Leader Pictorial, again, free in Duncan (Wednesdays and Fridays).

I think the RedPlum comes in the Oceanside Star (Parksville) free on Wednesdays - but only in "random" papers (what they told us at the office). the papers are inserted somewhere in Ladysmith and then delivered to the offices to be delivered to houses - so when they are packed - not every paper gets a redplum. I am not sure why this is - as I am sure we ALL want the REDPlum coupons!!!

I didn't get any coupons in the Friday paper either (the News) but picked up the Nanaimo Daily Times and it had the Smart source coupons!! YAY!!!

I noticed on the list it doesn't seem that we get the redplum in the Duncan newspapers? Is that true? I didn't realize different communities got different insert. I guess that's why we have to trade!

I'm not sure.....I only add to the list what someone posts.

If you find out which newspaper gets Red Plum then let me know and I'll put it up. (I'm pretty sure I found a Red Plum earlier this month when I was at the Burger King in Duncan)
