Need Hair Salon Advice

I am looking to get my hair coloured and cut but since I have had some horrible experiences in the past I need some recomendations.

While I am cheap in most aspects of my life this is different. I don't mind spending money (within reason) for an excellent experience and result.

Please post your salon recomendations , addy'sand even the stylists name

i find if you want to go from a light colour to dark colour, l'oreal healthy look creme gloss is a really great cheap way to go. I did mine exactly a month ago, and my colour hasn't faded, and my hair is still dark. The hair colour is ammonia free, and you only need to leave it in for 10 minutes! I did my moms grey hairs with the same thing, and it covered it super well!

Thanks sunshine I really wanted just to get highlights and low lights in my natural colour and I need a cut that has some shape to it since I have been growing it out. I would much rather just go and get it done professionally

i suggest you surf the "beauty" section of CL, and be a hair model for preferably not the newbies, but for people who do ADVANCED cutting or colour classes. I've been doing that for the last year and a half, and had never had to pay a single cent, except maybe a gift card or two for my stylist(s)
