Lets keep freebies FREE Please

I would like if the freebies were kept free, in that not free when on sale and with a coupon etc. As that should go in the sale or couponing section.

Free with purchase in the sale section etc. I think maybe there needs to be a sticky put here about appropriate sections. SC has become pretty jumbled lately.

Maybe a sticky thread for, did you recieve this or I have recieved this, instead of seperate threads asking did you recieve this, maybe even a second called "Recieved/Not Recieved". That would also stop with the replies to old threads which is confusing for some of the newer members.

A discussion which I'm not sure we will ever be finished discussing :shrug:...
I wonder if part of it has to do with the influx of new people due to the extreme couponing shows. The last months have marked a big difference in SC for me when it comes to organization.

OP is only sending a reminder to all, those rules are already in place, people just have a much broader definition of 'free' than should be

I don't think OP is referring to this freebie in particular. I believe she was talking about freebies/samples you have to walk into a store and even maybe purchase something to get the sample. Even if the razor is a phone-in, it's available to anyone in Canada who takes the 2 minutes to make the phone call. There isn't a lot of phone-in freebies though, which is probably why OP didn't even think about mentioning it.

I didnt' know about the schick razor, read it on here,,,,would hate to lose that ability to find things out, Sooner rather than later when the time line is over....

Yes...if it's free with a coupon put it in the DEALS section.

ACTUAL coupons go in the COUPON section.

But I'm perplexed why a freebie should be confined to an online freebie? :icon_scratch:
