I rarely shop at RCSS only because it's not as close to me as other stores. But they had such good sales on I just had to go. I've never used coupons there before so I went to Customer service first and asked if they took printed ones and if I could use their store coupon and a manufacturers coupon on the same item. Yes to both! I then asked if they price matched and they said yes but that they already price matched everything. Sure enough, their signs had lower prices then their flyer for the items that walmart had for cheaper in their flyer. They do the price matching for you! I didn't know this. A friend came with me so we combined our purchases so I got the free case of mangos. (Minus one that my friend took). I used more coupons then I've ever used at once and they took every one. The cashier was pleasant and said it's the most coupons she's ever done. I also had 4 Ensure cheques for $4 each. I bought 2 of the 6 packs at $7.97 and they took all 4 cheques. Total bill was $156.50. Total in coupons used $49.85.
Then on to SDM. I bought
2 Always @ 2.99 ea -$1.75 wub
2 Sunlight @ .99 ea -$1.00 x2
2 Fuze @ 2 for $4
1 Royal toilet paper @ $4.99 -$1.00
2 glade scented oil candle tins clearance $2.69 ea - $2 off any glade x2
I used the $10 gc I got last week so was oop $6.06
And a little rant, the lady in front of me at SDM had an overflowing cart of cases of campbells soup. As they were being rung up, she stood there tearing off campbells save $1 wub 2 coupons from a pad. She'd taken a whole pad from a store. I was just talking about this yesterday, I thought it was why I could never find campbells coupons. Now I know. grrrr. This thread is currently associated with: Pharmaprix, Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart

Nice brag but unfortunate about the lady taking the whole pad, I personally believe its a courtesy to just take what you need and make sure there are some for other people. It just makes you look greedy when you take the entire pad.

I feel bad when I take five coupons at once, I know there are other people out there that would appreciate saving too. Explains why some of us are out of luck on finding certain coupons.
