First today DH and I went to EB Games and he traded in 3 games and got a $25 GC.... woohoo
Then we headed to RCSS to check for EB Fruit. I was like a kid at Christmas time when I saw the yellow $3.04 stickers!!!! (thank you BOO111)
I got 7 bags in total, all mixed fruits. The cashier screwed up the coupons (to my benefit) but I didn't notice until I was checking the receipt in the car, and I forgot my B2G1 veggie coupons at home. Anyways....
I used 5 x $2.50 coupons and she entered 6, so = $15.00 off the fruit
Plus I had 2 x $2 coupons = $4.00 off
Fruit before coupons = $21.28
Fruit after 8 coupons = $2.28
It was supposed to be $4.78 with my 7 coupons but, hey, I'll take $2.28!
I make a mean fruit crisp in the crock pot for dessert so I'm thrilled with this sale!!! I have more $2 coupons and I'm going to check another RCSS Sunday when I do my weekly shopping.
We also got 1 washer fluid for $2 and dog food for $7.89, no coupons.
Then we headed to London Drugs. I was going to PM for free diapers and wipes but they didn't have the same ones that were on sale at RCSS. I got these anyways:
1 x Covergirl Mascara @ $5.99
1 x Covergirl Eyeshadow @ $5.99
I had $11 in coupons so I got both for $0.98
1 x Cascades Toilet Paper 12pk PM to Walmart @ $3.97
I had 2 $1 coupons so I got this for $1.97 (has anyone tried this tp before? I figured I'd risk it at under $2)
I also got Enfamil Gentlease formula @ $28.99 and used $15 in coupons = $13.99
My total at LD for 2 covergirl, toilet paper and formula was $17.xx
I forgot to add.... I did NOT have a problem using my P&G Brandsaver coupons dated 2/04/2010. I showed the cashier the email from P&G regarding the dd/mm/yyyy format and she asked to keep the email so she could post it on the board for all of the cashiers to read. I let her keep it, of course. I figured it would make my life easier down the road

Wow great deals!!! I don't know how I missed the EB I love their fruits. I have given up trying to use my pg coupons I have been turned down 4 times out of 4 tries and even with the letter made no difference.

Oatmeal Fruit Crisp
4 cups frozen mixes berries (I use 1 EB bag)
3 tbsp minute tapioca
1/2 cup Quick Oats
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp butter or margarine (melted)
Cook the berries and tapioca in a slow cooker for 3 hours on low or 1.5 hours on high
Combine other ingredients in a bowl and pour over berry mixture. Do not stir.
Lay a tea towel over the slow cooker and place the lid over top
Cook on high for 30 minutes or until brown and crisp
(It's extra yummy with some ice cream on the side)Coupons = Little pieces of paper you get FREE from the stores, from reps and from companies (ie: Not gold)

DH turns in games when he's finished them, or when a new one is coming out. That way he never pays full price. This time he turned in Guitar Hero World Tour (just the game), Bad Company (the first one), and Dirt 2. He only got 2-3 bucks for the first two but he NEVER plays them, so it's better than a layer of dust

Yes, it depends on the game for how much they give you. Dirt 2 was $20, the others were much less. Sometimes he catches a 'trade 3 get a new release' promotion and get a brand new popular game for free. It makes sense for us because once DH decides he's done a game, he's DONE. He doesn't play it ever again. So no use it just sitting there. I'd rather get something for it than nothing.Coupons = Little pieces of paper you get FREE from the stores, from reps and from companies (ie: Not gold)
