So I thought I'd share the items that I was able to buy using some of the coupons I received from my First VWT for charity (and some of my own). This is all food that I've purchased for my local food bank this month using coupons.

I have also purchased some health and beauty items for my local women's shelter but I'm waiting until I've accumualted enough items to make up some care packages.

My first train only had 3 riders so I'm really proud of what I was able to purchase to donate. I hope my next train attracts more riders.

So here's what I picked up:

2L bottle of Coke $2.17 (used FPC) = $0.00
Bottle of Ocean Spray Juice $2.00 (used $2 coupon) = $0.00
Can of flavoured Tuna $0.80 (used FPC) = $0.00
Knorr sidekicks x 4 $3.56 (used 2 x $1.00 wub 2 knorr) = $1.56
Pringles x 2 $2.48 (used 2 x $1.00 off) = $0.48
Catelli pasta sauce x 4 $4.00 (used 4 x $0.50 off) = $2.00
Chef Boyardee x 5 $5.00 (used 5 x $0.50 off) = $2.50
Total spent for 18 items = $6.54

thanks everyone...I hit some really good sales...I hope I can do more with my March train though...unemployment is at an all time high in my area (lots of manufacturing) so the demand is pretty high at the food bank right now...it feels good to help others...

Very nice of you to donate! B/f is laid off here but I still manage to donate locally as well With coupons we are lucky to get alot of stuff free (egg creations, tetley tea etc) or for little cost like the pasta sauce & pasta!
Feels great to give to others in need
