Went to RCSS today to cash in on some super deals on their 1/2 off brands sale and I used a total of $31.00 in coupons plus $7.00 off with a 50% of pink sticker on TIDE.

Once the cashier finished ringing in my order she turned to me and said, "This is most amount of coupons I have ever seen, WOW!, you are going to have the freshed, cleanest smelling house on the block"

She was in awe when the TIDE scanned at $7.00 and I had a $1.00 coupon to add.

As she was helping me bag my purchases, all I kept hearing her say was, "WOW"

What inspirational stories. They had me snickering. Way to go everyone!!!

I have no stories yet. But I am sure soon. Hopefully they are of nice cashiers and people waiting in line behind me.LOL

I had $53 in coupons yesterday at WM, which put me over their coupon limit. The cashier had to call CSM over for an override. She looked at all the coupons I used...and said with a smile... "wow...you must be the coupon queen" !! ha ha ha...made my day !!

I didnt know WM has a coupon limit too.

Yesterday, I went to RCSS and I got:

Bananas
4 Glade Sense & Spray
2 Different Mr Clean Products
5 Gillette Satin Care
6 EB Fruit
4 Beech-Nut Cereal
1.5L Miracle Whip

I purposely went to this particular cashier as she served be before and is very nice. I used $43.50 in coupons and paid only $24.50 OOP. She had to get the mgr to override it but they just laughed.

Cashier "Wow! That's alot of stuff for very little!"
Next Customer Behind Me "I am so shocked! I am going to start clipping coupons! I just can't believe it!"

It made me smile. Puts you in a good mood when people are complimentary.

i went to RCSS yesterday bcoz i have bogo oldspice coupons(instore) and sale was gonna end last night.i picked up
2 aveeno @3.99
4 oldspice body wash @2.99
and some other stuff .then i went to cashier.she scanned everything andddd thennnnnn...
cashier:-ohhhh u cant use this $5 off aveeno coupon because the product is only 3.99 i can't do it so she void her coupon .then she called her manager and told het blah blah blah (i didnt say anything .

manager:- is this coupon scanning at $5 off?

cashier :- yeah

manager:- so whats the problem just scan it and give her $5 off.

i thanked her and she left.then my old spice bogo...

cashier :- ohh u can't use store coupon and manufacture coupon.

me :- oh really since when and whyyyyy?

cashier:-i knw that u cant use it ok.(this time i was mad bcoz my lil son was with me and i have to pick my DD from her swimming and cashier was making her own rules i think she dosent knw i am Smart Canucks member and i knw how to use most of the coupons lol)

me:- ok call ur manager i wanna talk to her.

cashier:- called her manager ans asked her if customer can use mfc and instore coupon?manager said yes she can.oh my god that time u have to see her face lol.i gave her my coupon paid for my stuff and left i hope she learned something yesterday.

so i won i knw if they refuse my aveeno coupon i was not gonna say anything but manager didnt say anything and she let me use $5 off coupon on 3.99 product.

Scenerio: With new baby in seat on cart fussing a bit, I had similac, diapers and Brisk Ice Tea (10 cases). (note: sale was 2/$6.99)

Sale totalled and SPC discount applied, I handed over 10 Brisk coupons for $1.00 off each and 3 huggies coupons (fpc enjoy the ride rewards).

Cashier - "Awesome coupons (huggies) where do you get these?"
Me - "Enjoy the ride rewards instant win"
Cashier - "What is that?"
Me - "Huggies official online website, they give away instant prizes for points collected from buying huggies products."
Cashier - (After reading Brisk coupon) "I can't take these on a sale."
Me - "My understanding is that you are able to, please clarify it with Customer Service."
Cashier - phone call to someone - explains that she can't take it and must have been told that she could because she then hangs up, re-reads the coupon and says, "You can only use one because it says one per purchase."
Me - "Then I would like to ring up 10 different transactions or you could call a manager for approval (I saw so and so over in hard lines)."
Cashier - "ummm, I'll do it"
Me - talking to me son comforting him - "It's okay, she is learning"
Cashier - talking to my son - "Don't ever work in retail"
I thanked her after paying and she smiled telling me to "have a great day!"

Then I went to Save-On, had all expensive items (tenderloin steaks, organic fruits and veg. for my little guy) Saw the Knorr $1 coupon booklet, and took MAYBE 10. Two floor people came up to me, and said HI! CAN I HELP YOU?!?

A Lil insulting, considering I know they use that technique for shoplifters (I used to work at SDM)... $70 spent in their store, and they begrudge me $10 of FREE coupons... Hmmph.

How insulting .. I wouldve talked to a manager.
