Ok, so I open up my wet cloths and I think they are bad. Smelled so yucky and were yellow with little brown specks. So weird. Anyone else buy these and get this?

My store (Westcliffe mall on Mohawk W) got a bunch of those $3 super soft coral fleece plush-like throws again today. Lots of brown, but some nice pink, blue, white, gray, yellow and lime green. I still have a box of them closed, so refills are on the top of the shelf.
Starbelly, those specks could be mold, I'd suggest talking to the store manager, they may replace your wet cloths. If someone brought me that, I'd definitely replace it. We've had to throw out a lot of stock in the past due to mold, most of it was Christmas stuff. Makes me wonder what conditions the warehouses have sometimes.

I like the new Thermos lunch bags for back to school. Finally, going to ditch the kids' old ones since these are so nice and inexpensive.
Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

Spotted Laura Secord chocolate bars at the dollarama yesterday. Milk Chocolate only though...no dark chocolate (yet!)

Picked up an acrylic lipstick organizer for $2 (holds 9 lipsticks) and a cargo net for $3. So happy about the cargo net. I have been looking for one everywhere including the States and can not find one instores for under $10. Volkswagen wanted $80 for one! It's large so I had to fold in over. It also comes with 12 hooks.

Swiffer Dust & Shine furniture polish with Febreeze arrived at my store today, $3.
Also, a miss-delivered box (was aimed at another store) brought me this cute snake cat toy for $1.50. It's soft and plushy, the head is a ball with a jingly bell inside, comes in blue and pink. My cats are enjoying it, so I'm happy!

Something new and noteworthy arrived today at my store, Thermos 9-can insulated tote bags (still haven't been put out on the store floor, should be tomorrow) for $3.

Well, I've finally done the dreaded "wash test" to see how these things hold up, as they are labelled "easy care".
Washed a couple in cold water and cold rinse and hang dry (I rarely use the dryer) and they turned out great! I half expected shredded throw all over the place, but THEY'RE OK!
