Here is the scenerio. DH and I have been reorganizing our bedroom for some possible new furniture in the near future. So we have been doing some "Spring Cleaning" per se. We don't have a lot of storage space for my stockpile so I had put some of it on the bottom shelf under some of my clothes. Needless to say, DH found the surprise of his life when he uncovered this shelf.
On it were the following items:
12 pkgs of Finish Dishwashing Tabs(which is about 2 yrs worth for us)
4 Bottles of Tide
4 Boxes of Snuggles Dryer Sheets
3 Clorox Wipes
Also the mystery of my drawers were revealed which hold various shave creams, deoderant, lotion and styling products. I just had a good laugh but it was certainly a Kodak moment!
Has anyone else had a similar experience? If so please share!

LOL aw, that's cute. I've not yet had that happen, but I'm sure when I split my stockpile up and move out I'll end up opening a box months after I move and finding tons of stockpile stuff in it.

My DH loves to shop as much as me and was with Safeway for 40 yrs so knows the cost of shopping - he wishes everyone would start doing this way earlier in life - our 22 and 25yr old DDs love what we give them but don't have the time or "Patience" to do the leg work!!! Kudos to you and all other younger families - stretch your dollars!!!

I was told i was cut off on buying laundry soap so I sneak 1 new bottle everytime there's a really good sale. I have over 30 bottles so 1 every so often isn't too bad i think. Dh hasn't noticed there's another shelf full of soap, one day he will and then I'll be in trouble.

I have one of those four drawer plastic stands beside my freezer full of shaving cream, shampoo, razers, toothpaste, deodrant, etc. and now $2.50 x 12 sunscreen. My cold room is full of canning, potatoes, onions for the garden plus coffee, laundry soap and lots of canned soup. My husband just shakes his head but I'm wondering if this food inflation comes along if we might be the smart ones!
