I just realized there is a "Sell" feature on here!
One of my major hobbies is gardening. I have a greenhouse in my backyard and every year I grow our family's vegetables and a variety of flowers. I sell Rose of Sharon bushes/trees and the money goes into my boys' piggy banks. I obviously won't be shipping out the potted trees, but I thought I'd try selling the seeds.
Spring is coming and it's the perfect time to start your seeds indoors! Or these can also be planted straight into the ground as soon as the last frost clears.
These are WHITE Rose of Sharons and they are just beautiful. Generally speaking, rose of sharon bushes can get 8'-10' tall and have a spread of 4'-6'. They can be pruned into a hedge, cut into a bush or let it grow into a tree. They are extremely hardy and very hard to kill...this is why it's my plant of choice....there's not much you can do wrong with it! A little water and it will grow very easily.
I am selling packets of 25 seeds for $2 per packet. (59c of that is for the stamp to mail!). I have a PayPal account. Will also trade for 4 pstamps or coupons on my wishlist. Will ship anywhere.
Here is the gorgeous white tree that I harvest all of the seeds off every year. I have been growing trees off of this mother tree for 6 years now! A decent size Rose of Sharon sells for around $80 at a Garden Centre...you could have yours blooming by next year if you start growing it this year!
As always, money made will go into my sons' education savings! This thread is currently associated with: Spring Shoes
