First off, I'm glad I have you people to share with, because all of my girlfriends think I'm a crazy coupon lady. They are really not interested in my hobby. I leave the store feeling so happy I found a deal, that I need to tell someone...and my husband is getting tired of the phonecalls at work. So, thanks SC'ers for letting me brag!

I used up a wack load of my coups expiring March 31st today at LD.
I initially went and to pick up the Advertised Tide (52) use for 12.99 knowing I'd have to pay a for quite bit of it, but it ended up that the managers Special was Tide Complete for 5.99. Wahoooooo Free tide!
I have to say how much I love my LD!!! I'm in Spruce grove (we don't have one out here) so I drive to Edmonton. (Windermere)
Today the store manager came up to me and introduced herself, and told me to bring my friends, and keep making the trip out. She LOVES couponers!!
Several of the ladies know my 7 month old son by name now, he loves to flirt. ( Thanks Charlie, for helping Momma shmooze with the cashiers
)
So heres my rundown:
Total Bill: $341.50
Coupon Savings: $ 288.93
My cost: $52.57 ( $16.37 Was tax)

Wonderful brag! Doesn't it drive you crazy when friends don't want to hear about the deals?
I had a bunch of FPC's a while back and I had a friend with me, and she was totally shocked when I ended up paying 42 cents for about $50 worth of stuff, she was pretty excited.. So I re-offered teaching her how to coupon... She said, "Nah.. Coupons never really save you money, thanks though.." LOL! It was like the $0.42 shopping trip was erased from her memory!!!!!!!!
Wow! You have an awesome diaper stock and tide stockpile going! WTG!

OMG I am so jealous!
A manager who loves couponers???? This is insane. I feel like every time I use my coupons for deals, the cashiers are either rolling their eyes, or pissed off.
Well good for you! You should definitely keep shopping there. What a nice manager, to actually appreciate your business!
I gotta move to Alberta!

Hmmm... I think Im changing my LD location to Windermere . Ive been going to St. Albert, but theyre getting less friendly. I dont even bother with Northtown (they're flat out mean)
Thanks for the tip!Last edited by EdmontonGal; Wed, Mar 23rd, 2011 at 08:57 PM.

Woah! Way to go. I wish we had to pay that little tax. I hate BC's 12% tax. =[

Great brag! I did my first ever stack at Windermere last week and they were fabulous! The cashier was more excited than I was at my $40 coupons. The assistant mgr came over and chatted when I was at the till and again commented that they love couponers there. And friendly like mentioned that if I have larger stacks ( over $200 in coupons) if I call ahead they would be sure to have an extra till open.
