New to SmartCanucks & handling coupons

I am a mother of three children and my disabled brother-in-law, his wife and their new-born living with us. SO we are supporting in total a family of 8 people (my mother-in-law included), and just last week my husband told me that his salary is going to stop. I'm a student at the university hoping to finish by the end of the summer. I saw once on TV a show about how much people can save by using coupons, and I thought this is the way I should go.
I read few threads on this website, and printed out the few coupons I was able to reach through this website. But I will need all the guidance I can get in where to find the deals and where to get the coupons from. My problem is that with my studies I don't have the time to search for those.
I welcome any advice anyone can give me. (I live in Waterloo, Ontario).

I'm fairly new to this site too and you will be amazed at all the lovely, helpful people on here!!

One thing I do as a newbie, is check the Brag section everyday. People post their amazing buys and you learn how they do it.

For example, I took 5 coupons off a tear pad in Zellers for $3 off. Walmart had a sale on Tide the following week. It was normally $16.87, on sale for $11.97 last week, then with the coupon down to $8.97!! It's really crazy the amount of money one can save.
