Thanks for the "like" in response to the cashier bashing thread. I was surprised when the SC posting the comment stated that in the past, she too was a cashier. IMHO, when the job of a cashier is done correctly, it's not that easy.

I noticed your absence and I'm so glad that you're back. Yes, we have to share this site with some people that are like overblown characters from a Simpsons episode. They say "Don't feed the trolls!" but they will feed on us anyway. Just hold your nose, keep going and at some point you may start to laugh at her. Like so many of us are doing now.

As you are probably aware SDM prices are so inflated I can rarely justify spending there. So all year it was at the 20x points, or other promos or if I had awesome coupons, then I would buy there. It took the whole year for me to get that many points, not sure I can do a repeat in 2012, but I will keep my eyes open. Great that you treated yourself ! That is what we are supposed to do. All the best to you and the family over the holidays!

Oh my hello again stranger! Thanks for the SDM rep. I was " over the moon " to add that much food to my stockpile, warms my heart and my belly, lol. You did the same amount redeem as me! ha ha . Now the tough part comes, trying to earn points for next year.

Hi! I just put a bunch of temporary Canada day tattoos on my face and neck, lol , my DD looks at me like " o.k. Mom. " I handed her some but I guess she is not feeling the patriotism. We will be BBQ-ing later, " old school " , over briquettes as DH forgot to fill the propane tank. ttyl

Thanks for the message- it has been awhile. My mom passed away so I have spent most of my time doing all of the things that come along with that. We just came back from out last trip down to Welland. So, I think I am "back" now. Hope you are having a great weekend too!

People need to be careful with what other SCer wrote, they need to do their homework before doing the same as other in brag section.... But often people didn't want to see that part of the saving, they prefer the magic thinking!

I'm sure you have help some people to be more vigilent and try to evaluate if the trip realy worth it
