It started in January 2008 with a postive diagnosis of Cancer for my Mom. Thus began her journey for which I accompanied her for most of the appointments she had to endure. In March 2008 she had a large section of her colon removed and she recovered nicely but the cancer was found in 4 lymph nodes in the area so along with radiation she endure heavy doses of Chemo for 8 months. They removed the pick line in November and she started to recover from the treatments. Through all of this she kept a bright and postive attitude and on this past Wed she got her final results, the cancer is gone and there is no sign of it anywhere. Did I mention my Mom is 83 ?
I wanted to thank everyone here who prayed for her, I beleive that made a huge difference, the strength of prayer is amazing and I thank the Lord for hearing those prayers.
That is what I am thankful for today.
Now if I could ask one more favour. My best friend was just diagnosed with Cervical cancer the same day my Mom got her all clear. She is 43, please remmeber her in your prayers. She wil have surgery next month.
