Thankful for the warm sunny day we had.Birds were nest building ,bees were buzzing in the crocus and frogs were singing in the creek....sigh!
I am thankful that I got out of the house today...I was getting cabin fever...I saw flowers and enjoyed the spring air.
There was just enough milk left for coffee. Lucky me!
I'm thankful that it's Friday and I get to go to the cabin at the lake again tonight...that the snow is almost gone...that the ice is melting...that robins are singing and that Spring has finally arrived.
I am thankful that my family has their health...last week I found out my sister's 22yr old sister in law had a seizure in bed, her first time ever, boyfriend took her to the emergency, they did a scan and she has a massive tumor. Has had 2 surgeries in 10 days and is only 22 yrs old...then my daughter who is 12, came home yesterday from school and a little girl who is 9 in her school has cancer, and was sent to children's Hospital for immediate treatment..
I am so sad, and I am so blessed to be healthy...
oh what sad stories :(

Today I'm thankful for this group of community ... helps me to get my focus right and I know that this is a well of positive energy. So thanks everybody.
I'm thankful my grandson still gives me hugs and tells me he loves me I hope he never grows out of being so affectionate.
Thankful that my son is starting to realize that his wanting to swim in the Olympics is going to take more hard work than he imagined but he still really wants to try. So I guess we're in for the long haul.

My First Goldfinch of the Season! the always beautiful cardinal at my feeder, and some plant of mine that is growing.
My neighbors dog ran away but showed up at my house. Thankfully I knew where he was from. They live on another street but they walk him on mine and I see them often. I was raking the front lawn and he casually walked by me so I put the rake down and called him over. He was so terrified and he crouched down so I said come here, patted him on the head and told him to come with me. What a good boy he followed me along the sidewalk all the way to his house and if he got too far ahead I told him to wait and he did. The owners were so happy, he had never gotten out before and it was an accident that her husband left the back gate open. As a pet owner I know how scary that is. Another happy ending.
