To live in a country free from war, and be able to worship with no fears, to be able to express ourselves openly. To have my son back home from university even if only for a short time. For friends who are so kind to me and my kids. For our Reverend Pastor and the blessings of the families at church today...even though it was hard with just my daughter and I. :cry:
And last but not least for another year to look forward to...and hopefully make a positive impact on a few people. :)
For people like TaraF who despite their own struggles, are willing to help out others with their own.
I am thankful for a new year and the chance to start over!

I am thankful that DS is back in school today after being off for 2 weeks! Phew, mama is TIRED!
I am really thankful for the awesome marks I got in my courses last semester at UofT. I left high school over 6 years ago and just started university last September. I was quite amazed today when I saw that I got an 80% average in my university courses! This definitely gives me some much-needed confidence in myself. :-)
That DS&his wife made it back to Toronto :excited:
I am thankful that tomorrow I am on vacation and with all the snow that is on it's way, I am sleeping in. :biggrin:
