Could be weird ...But I am thankful those days we can watch online movie free and not get concerned if it is a blue-ray , hd or wathever .It just play and it save me dvd locations or buying a dvd with blue ray function..I love cheap entertainning.
Today, I'm thankful to be feeling better. It's early, but I woke up without any pain this morning :) It's been a long time since I've had a pain free morning.
Popsicles! (Another bout of tonsillitis for me..)
Being surrounded by wonderful friends and family :)
So very thankful my son has found another job so quickly after being laid off - his last day was supposed to be next Tuesday, but he starts his new job today - turns out the respective bosses know each other. It's not work in his field of mechanics (which he'll look for in the new year), but it pays three bucks more an hour, so good for him!
That we are getting a bit of rain here this morning. It's been so hot and dry, the rain is a welcome relief.
I also got a call from my youngest last night. She has been accepted into a Sober Living facility in a city just a few hours drive from home. She is graduating from her program at the ranch on Saturday and I got a report from her counsellor yesterday saying that she has worked extremely hard and put her heart and soul into gettin better.
I have prayed for so long for her sobriety, my fingers are crossed as she takes her next step towards that.
After 4.5 years of grad school, some very long nights (18 hr days, especially recently), and 175 pages later... I have my PhD thesis ready to submit.
And then it's nap time...
All the blessings and good things in my life :)
I am thankful that my medications are covered by my employer despite the fact that I am on disability. My daughters epi pens are $100 a pc and she recently went to Europe and needed to take 5 and my medicatons are well over $150 a month. It frightens me that there are people who are not covered and must reach whatever limit before the govt plans kick in.
