I am thankful for facebook, it can be full of drama, but today some friends posted old photos from the 60s and 70s, alot of the people in the photos are no longer with us so its nice to see their happy smiling faces.
Thankful for the warm feeling of a home, after rushing through a snowy evening.
I'm thankful that I can watch the snow from inside.
I'm thankful that this stupid bronchitis is finally letting go of me....as for the dusting (so far) of snow.....Phhhhttt! Hate that crap!!
Hope you're feeling better today Lynn.
Thankful that the snow storm wasn't too bad and we only have a little.
Thankful for Tylenol 3. My gallbladder has to come out but until then I can sleep pain free ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Thankful for all you guys sharing what you are thankful for. It really helps focus on the small stuff when life gets overwhelming sometimes.
For my friend and mom.
I'm thankful that all my sick friends are starting to feel a bit better. I'm also very thankful that our trip home has so far been uneventful and that we will be back in Alberta today :-) We will see one our dd's tomorrow and get to spend all our time through to Sunday night with her, then on home and get to have Easter with the rest of our family and grandchildren. I'm thankful for Canada and just to be home. Have a wonderful day everyone, and hopefully by next week I'll be back into routine and will be able to catch up on all the goings on here.
Sue you had the same thought as me this morning: that this thread provides us with a brilliant opportunity to remind ourselves of the good in our lives, our loved-ones, and that there is always something to be thankful for. Hon, I've gone through what you're going thru with your gallbladder, and finally had mine out years ago through laproscopic surgery. WHAT a relief to finally eat like a normal person after that! I wish you well, Sweetie, and that you never go through any of those episodes that feel like you're having a heart-attack. I had only one, and my Mom had to call my hubby off the golf-course to take me to the hospital....I wouldn't go, of course, but I sure hope you don't experience one of those! One is enough.
Has your surgery been scheduled??
Holly...I wish you safe travels, and boy, do I know the feeling of being back in Canada again!! Nice to get away, but nicer to get back home. And in time for Easter!! How wonderful for you!!!
BTW, everyone...Avon and her hubby are on a cruise to Hawaii (there already, actually)...her hubby got the flu and was quaranteened for 24hrs so she had to go into Hilo alone..but all's well now, and it's on to the next port of call!!! Spoiled brat!
Stay well, everyone!!!
So very thankful for being able to have the bright sunshine stream into the house today - because there's no way I'm going out when it's minus a zillion still!
The kitties find spots of sun in the living room in which to sunbathe - and grudgingly get up every once in a while to move to a new sunny place, so I think they are grateful for it, too!
I am thankful for my DH`s amazing cooking skills. With the cooking ability between the 2 of us, we should not have any takeout pizza this week. :)
I'd be thankful if this new recipe for dinner rolls turns out; they're proofing now..fingers crossed! :)
Thankful for wonderful karma. As little as holding the door open for someone and later that same day, someone else holding it for you. :)
Im thankful the storm is over, and the roads are clear for my daughters overnight class trip to Quebec (4 hour drive from home). She is gonna have so much fun skiing, snow mobiling, tubing, snow shoeing... :)
