Grandchildren are the best. And the tooth fairy, nothing makes a child smile more than waking up and find some $$ under the pillow! HECK, I'd be doing the jig if I woke up and found some money under my pillow too :tongue:

Oh, isn't that such a relief, Holly! How we worry about them, no matter how old 'the kids' get. Our DD just picked our grandson from swim camp and are off to camp...
I don't know how many times I said, be careful, drive carefully, take care of yourselves, but I hope enough! She used to say things like, "mom..I think this time I'll drive on the other side if the road with a glass if wine in my hand...."...gr. Brat. Now she just tolerates my admonitions, smiles & nods in other words, but it makes me feel better.
Now my hubby, of course, just had to take his scooter to Michaels to buy me a new knitting darning needle! Drive carefully! Sigh. It's a conspiracy! No wonder I have white hair!!

I think they hear even though they they laugh about it. (Honestly....!)

Gah! So glad I saw this post!! DD lost a tooth last night when she stayed over at her aunt's house. Got to remember to put on my fairy wings tonight!!!

(even though she's 12 and knows better. LOL)

That our dear friend Tara has made it through another week of treatment, 2 down, 4 to go. My fingers are crossed and I've prayed that she can just hold on and make it through the next few weeks of nasty horrible treatments.

Prayers for Tara from this anonymous poster too! Those treatments are gold, when you think of it....challenging, yes; may they do what they are supposed to do and may Tara find the strength to get through them. Hang in there. :rain1:

Most thankful for my husband - always for many reasons - but today, while I had a nap, he did all the dishes and pots - what a dear! :love7:

Pain meds

i like staying home alone, no need to spend money just cuz it's the long weekend.

Thankful that it's a holiday and my DH, kids and I are all home together today. :)

I'm thankful the weekend has finished. I normally DON'T say that, especially on the Labour day weekend, but this one has been, well, labour intensive. I'm exhausted and glad it's done with. Can't wait to go to bed.

I'm thankful today for my family having survived the long weekend in tack. No issues or accidents, everyone had a great time.

Thankful for the surprise my hubby gave me this morning. It's our second anniversary.
