I am thankful for dreams - I had the most vivid dream about my daddy a few nights ago (my daddy passed last April). In it he was at home, sitting on the couch just talking to us like normal, but I knew I was dreaming. In my dream I asked my daddy if I could hug him because I told him "I dont know when I will be seeing you again". I went up to him and I swear I could feel him in my hug and I could feel him hugging me back. I just miss him so much, so being able to hear my daddys voice and see his face in my dreams is more than I could ask for.
Thankful for coffee with an old friend.
The thoughtful little things he does like... bringing home food processor when he hears me wishing for one, plugging my car in or cleaning it off and making sure it's warm in the morning. Surprise massages. He fixed our dishwasher yesterday. I'm over the moon

That DW and I were not injured nor was our vehicle damaged when we got rear ended today.
Thanks be to God!
Glad for you Skippy and you DW, I pray every time in a vehicle to be safe & happy on our drives to town etc. I am very thankful for the guys who own snow removal tractors and give our driveway a swipe on there way by.
I'm thankful for my daughter who is celebrating her 37th birthday today.. she has done a tremendous amount of work to make herself have a nice life and currently working on her SATS.. hoping to get into law school without a degree.. I'm so proud of her, not because she may be a lawyer, though it is fun to think about. I'm proud of her for working on the things in her life that were detracting from her quality of life. Seeing her happy makes me happy.. She also has a very supportive husband.. I can die without worrying about her.. it feels good :) I know I'm odd.. but common among parents I'd think..
People who make a difference in my life and in turn add to its quality.
