What are you thankful for today?

I am extremely thankful that the antibiotics that they put Peanut on last night are so far not giving her any side effects or allergic reactions...
It is Cephalexin, and she has mild penicillin allergy

Please say a prayer for her that they work without any side effects.

She has a large red lump behind her ear that came up over night (which the doc thinks is from a bug bite or something) so hopefully we will see some improvement by tomorrow morning or back to the hospital I go.

Please keep my Peanut in your thoughts and prayer

I am so thankful for my family. I was losing it yesterday, and they rallied to make me feel better. Plus, our new cleaner came yesterday, so after a day from hell, I went home, practically in tears, and the house was clean, the kids were playing nicely, dh cooked, and dd helped do the dishes while I read stories to ds. THen, I had the evening to myself, and got to actually relax for once, without anyone so much as mentioning the leaning tower of laundry. Now I have the energy to tackle today!!!

Prayers thoughts and well wishes for Peanut.

I am thankful that today I am able to help my Mom by going to with her to her Doctor's appt, taking her shopping and spending time with her. I am thanksful I have a job that understands all of this and allows me the time off to be able to help my Mom while she is ill.

It really is Skippy, as apparently the MRSA is going around my town and if these antibiotics didn't work then this would not have been good news!!!

This is why I have been so worried the last couple of days as we were just hoping that she had been bitten by something as there was no mark....Now that the redness and swelling are gone down, you can see the little bite mark behind her ear in that fold

I am doing the happy dance today!!!



Anyway, signing out in a few minutes as I have to go to Peanuts school for lunch to give her the antibiotics...

She is loving the fact that Mommy and baby sis have been having a picnic lunch with her all this week at school

I am thankful that EI is paying for me to go back to school so that I can better myself and not have to rely on anyone else to help me....and I have a good man in my life now to.....and I am also thankful for my family's health....and to have found such a great online community as "SC".......
