I love reading this section. I always find out about "deals" that I missed! Like the fact that there was a coupon for ziplocks and they are on sale at NF! So, when I went to download that coupon, in the list I noticed one for Oasis juice...got that one too.

So off I went today to WM to do some PM. I got an awesome cashier, she had no problem with my PM and using the coupons! I got 8 boxes! And some OJ (with the $1 off coupon - it wasn't on sale, but that's my DH's brand and we were running low).

I was getting a scrubbing bubbles refill (had a $5 coupon)...the price was $4 something and change. She said I couldn't use the coupon because it was valued at $5 which was more than the product. I asked if she could just take off the actual amount and she said that they were not allowed as the coupon did not say "up to $5". That's fine I didn't really need the item, and the coupon doesn't exp until July or August. I just asked her to delete it from the bill. She THANKED me for being understanding. She said that you wouldn't believe the attitude people give her when they are informed this.

So thanks SC'ers for keeping me up to date on the deals!

Oh - and I got a SCOP at NF! They had tins of Organic Coffee marked down to a dollar....could only find one that wasn't decaf....so I got it. Only to realize when I got home that I had been charged full price. Stop back in on the way to school to get the kids and they refunded me the full price.

I like this section too. It's inspiring to see what people can do with coupons and price matching--and on occasion, when I've missed a deal that was posted somewhere, reading the brags clues me in before the sale ends! LOL
