Are you subscribed to ELLE Canada, or is this a surprise in the mail?

I've asked on getsatisfaction long ago that the free magazine offers with a minimum $30 purchases doesn't apply to Canadian orders. If you weren't expecting the magazine, then maybe paying with PayPal confuses the system, and this is free from ELF?

Update after checking the mailbox: looks like I got one too that says the same thing. Yay for being loyal to ELF then!

Hmm. I know when you order from elf, on the checkout page there is a link to a magazine subscription, and if you don't click the "I do not want this" it will be added to your order. I think I have forgotten to click it before and never got anything in the mail or was charged.

Congrats to those that got it though!

About a week ago I got the April issue of ELLE out of the blue and was totally surprised. Today I received the May issue with the "Enjoy your 1 year subscription compliments of BedBathStore.com and E.L.F." message as well. I'm pretty sure I checked off that I didn't want the subscription and I've never had an order over $30...I guess there's something up with the system. Oh well, it's a nice surprise

Woo hoo! Got my first ELF order today!

So yeah, as mentioned before, it took around 2 weeks for my order to arrive.

I purchased the mineral eyeshadow primer, Studio Line C Brush, and i got a free lip gloss tin for referring 3 people! :D

The only thing that scares me is that the primer looks a bit cakey. Almost spongy. Hopefully it works out okay.
