I scanned a few of the business cards of places I got to for deals. Hoping others will do the same and post here. We can build up quite a repertoire if we pool our resources. Making it a Wiki thread for everyone.

For St. Methode bread products at 50% or less of the retail price. Also Vachon cakes, Bear Paws, Whippets (cash, interac)

Entrepot de viandes specializes in Angus beef and has family budget planning deals. (cash, interac, cc)

Services R. Tremblay has refurbs from Frigidaire which he sells with full warrenty at half the price. (cash preferred)

Myself I like "épices anatole" on St-Laurent close to marché Jean-Talon for spices in bag at low price.

I go sometimes at marché ColFax in Laval (beside marché 440).

This is a wonderful thread Patty. Great idea.

I'm making a list of places I plan on visiting soon. Liquidation 3Jis at the top of my list since I'm such a Costco addict.

Went to St Methode, really great prices. Also happened to stop at Lafrenaie on way back. Is more expensive but you can get there a variety of biscottis probably 1/2 price than in a regular Italian pastry shop and they have a few specials of the day when you go.

    Nice thread, thanks.

Anyone knows where the entrepôt for Bentley went? It used to be on Le Corbusier in Laval beside Linen Chest but they moved when they did the reno in the mall. Cheapest suitcases I had ever seen. I wrote the company but they never replied back.

Oh I miss that place so much!!! I have no clue where it went either. I have not even seen what has replaced it yet. I know they were doing major constructoin on the whole mall.

    Hi,

Nobody mentioned Mayrand yet? Overall, the prices may not be THAT great, but if you ever need restaurant size items, paper plates or cups, this is the place to go. They have super quality meat, fruits and vegetables and really cheap baking and cooking equipment. Just try to avoid going during the week end!
