How does it work if I have a FPC for a cover girl product? Should I assume that they would punch it in as 2003 and I would get no points for it?
Keep Smiling!
Super Mel

This is taken directly from the coupon I have for BP:
*Points are issued according to the net pre tax purchase of $25 or more spent on any participating personal care products using a valid Shoppers Optimum Card® after discounts, redemptions and before taxes. Not to be used in conjunction with any other Shoppers Optimum Points® promotions or events. While quantities last, we reserve the right to limit quantities. No rainchecks.
I don't think I'm even gonna try to use this one.....
Thanks for you help!

Ok, can someone help me out with this. I currently have only 5,687 optimum points. If I buy a sdm gift card upfront for $80, I will get 800 points + purchase $80.00 of covergirl products for 40,000 points & use the SDM coupon "purchase $15 worth of simply ageless covergirl foundation & receive 3,000 bonus points" I will end up with a total of 49,487 points. So I just need another 513 more points to get $100 worth of free stuff? Is this right?

Wow - I have learned so much by reading this thread!
I have been doing the bonus point collection/redemption days for years but I never knew you could get points for purchasing GCs!
Thanks everyone!

FYI - I checked with my store and they confirmed that if I buy $75 in GC products this weekend I will get 50x the points AND the $20 Esso GC
So, here's the math behind why this is such a great deal...
$75 in CG products = 37,500 points (can be more if you buy GC first and have bonus point coupons) + $20 Esso card
37,500 points = $78.95 on bonus redemption at max level ($200/95000*37500)
So, spend $75 on CG products, get almost $100 back in bonuses

I was at shoppers today picking up a bunch of neutrogena/aveeno products to bump up my pounts before I redeem, and I was checking out the covergirl items. The makeup lady came over to see if she could help, and I just explained i was checking out the covergirl to see what I wanted to buy for 50X the points on Saturday. She was very polite, but wanted to make sure I knew that I had to spend $25 after coupons to get the points and that I can't redem and earn the points at the same time (I know that part is true). I just innocently replied, oh really, I thought it was before coupons. She insisted it was after, and that their new cash registers "know" this. :lol Good thing I learned BP from you all, and not shoppers
. If I do a $50 shop on Saturday for CG, I'll have enough for $200 redemption on Sunday
