(1) buy snack, etc, at the Esso gas store
(2) trade them as soon as possible

You can buy anthing in the store, not just gas. There's Tim Horton Express, Lotto tickets, phone cards, lots of things or just trade them.

Go to Esso and see if they have gift cards you can buy.
Or buy nonperishable things they have in store.
You can also think about buying things/gift cards that can be used for gifts - birthdays, Mother's/Father's day, or, dare I say it...

I rec'd 2 cards and I don't have a car. I gave one to my mom and one to a friend. They both drive me when we go out and with the cost of gas thought it would be nice to share.

Avrose, i am from Winnipeg and got 2 Petro Canada cards, one when i did my CG shop and spent $95 and one when i redeemed my $200! You should go back and get your gas card!
