Can someone please explain plus status? What does it mean and what does it do for you. I loged in and it said this.

6,610 once you get 6,610 more regular/base points you will have plus status for the rest of this year and for next year.

when you get plus status you get special offers. It used to be that when you get plus status you would get points back when you redeemed, but that ended last july. Now it is just for special offers.
the message about how close you are to plus status only shows on your online profile when you are half way (or closer) to plus status

Plus membership gets you special offers. Not that long ago for everyone it was 18,500 point WUB $75, Plus members got a coupon sent to them that gave them another 3,500 points. Basically they are trying to 'reward' you for spending over $1500 ($750 if you buy gc first) in their store in a year.

If not for your post I would not have even thought to check, I thought it would be forever for me.....well guess what?? I only need 4910 points by the end of this year to make plus status!! I can do that many points in my sleep. lol

So you need 15000 regular points to hit plus status.

So those are for buying a regular items like GC and mile etc normal things correct

I bought $250 in GC on friday... was told I need 1750 more points... When I used those GC's I hit it!! Kinda exciting.. but really does it do anything exciting?

Plus status means you get extra bonus points offers sent to you.

It used to be much better but now its pretty much just getting point offers not available to reg cards
