I see the subject of tattoos is being discussed. How many of you have put your tattoo on Inked in the Q site?

I love my tattoo but it's not getting too much love in Inked. If any of you would like to go and give it a nice high rating I'd be much obliged! And I would happily return the favour!

This is my tattoo. I got it for my 50th birthday!

And yes, that is the original artwork in my signature!

Last time I checked it was on page 17 or so in Inked.
You gotta admit it's unique if nothing else!!

I watched a student being interviewed on Canada Am this morning, she stated categorically that the history of WWI and WWII had been removed from the carriculum of Quebec schools.If that is the case, we have a major problem in this country because the seperatists are taking over the agenda. Those who helped to define what it is to be Canadian with their service are being dishonoured by such actions. You would think that after pulling France out of the fire twice that there might be a modicum of respect generated. I grow more disgusted with Quebec by the day!


Appalling! The Van doo's are a CRAZY bunch.Many French Canadians DIED in both wars.What a slap in the face if Quebec is allowed to disgrace and dishonor due to their HATRED for English Canada.Removing historical FACT from schools to suit their biggoted, hateful selves.If a Civil War were fought here, French Canada would surely see its fate sealed. Enough of this Lefty pandering and silence them for good!


We can not forget how peace was won. It cost us our best and brightest citizens, and that is still the case today.With the reported removal of the military history from the school cirriculum in Quebec and the words of non wisdom from the University of Regina professors last month it appears we have started down the slippery slope and maybe approaching full speed in taking our freedoms for granted.

It's been 34 years since I left high school and the only history of Canadians fighting anybody that I was taught was in senior public school and it was the British and the French fighting in Canada. I love history and was a very avid reader of the two WW's especially where Canada was involved. Anything I know about the WW's I taught myself and learned from my and my freinds relatives. I know my kids were never taught anything about the wars. So Ontario is probably guiltier than Quebec.

Did we attend the same school system? I studied both world wars in high school, extensively. My kids are doing so now.

I had a friend that had a lot of tattoos and always said that he wanted to get a W on each butt cheek. That way when he bent over it would say....
