Thread: My stock pile of Cream Eggs!

Ok so I loooooooooooooooove Cream Eggs....and at 1 of my local Zellers they are selling for 75% off making them 25 cents a piece.
A couple years back when I was pregnant I was craving them pretty bad.So after Easter I did a test trial with a couple Cream Eggs and my freezer.They actually freeze and thaw pretty well.So needless to say I will have quite the stash come tomorrow. I though my other local Zellers had them at the same price but they dont and they are all out of Cream Eggs.So its back to the 1st location again tomorrow to top off my freezer.
I picked up 10x Cream eggs @ 25 cents
2x Turtle Eggs @ 30 cents (Though I had 3 in my stash and used a coupon.Didnt realize until after there was only 2 and she had passed the coupon)
Total paid $2.50 with tax for all 12 pieces.
Pretty decent savings since they retail about $1ish a piece.This thread is currently associated with: Zellers

great deal my zellers is still selling them at 99cents each! i don't understand how 1 zellers can have something on clearance and another (even in the same town) has it for full price

I LOVE cream eggs too. I went and bought a bunch at 50% off because last year I waited too long for them to go to 75% and didn't get any. I have been freezing them for as long as I remember...I actually eat them frozen, lol. We paid close to $25 for a bag of Easter candy (mini eggs, cream/caramel eggs, kinder surprise) at Zellers...I couldn't believe that the full price would have been over $50, yikes!
