Thanks dbband!, glad someone out there agrees (although I'm sure more do too!) Mine really are sweet, I know some can be aloof but some can be pretty damn sweet too! I really do believe at least my Amy really is there for me not just herself, I really think she would miss me even if someone else fed her!

I'm really sorry yours passed away, I worry about that day even though my are only 8 years old (actually 9 this summer!) still you never know.......I love them a lot!

My cat was over 17 years old when I had to put him down, just on my wife's birthday too. That was a birthday to remember... I actually had two and the other one had died of cancer 2 years earlier. Having the second one go was much tougher. As I said, we're now ready to get a couple of cats again.

We put our Sheltie down a year ago last October.... He is the second Sheltie that we have had (and put down) and it was one of the hardest things I had to do.... Our first was like our first born child, and when our son was born, our dog was the best baby sitter around... he barked when he heard the baby crying and if anyone came near the baby, he was right there beside them making sure that the baby was ok....

We found out that the mother of our second Sheltie was given away because they had a baby... terrible reason....

Isn't it illegal fish off the south side of the causeway?

I believe only till a certain date due to it being a fish sanctuary then after the date which I'm not sure about I believe you can then fish there. Not that many people abide by it anyway which makes me mad and the ministry doesnt seem to check them anyway

hey everyone:

okay wolfdio, i love the pics of the kids with the pets and the cute little doggies but the plugs about puds i gotta say mine are not like that!!! Mine do come when called, they do like to play games, they don't (well one of them does) leave hair around, and when i walk in the door they come a running down the stairs to greet me!!! Every time i walk in (hungry or not!) really.... And amy in the morning (every morning) is outside my door meowing, when i open the door she bursts through runs around, then stops, says a few things in pud language and is just full of purrs (happiness to see me!) just had to throw that in.....i know doggies get a better rap and i guess they should but my kitties are pretty darn friendly and a lot of them are!!! okay, enough said for now........

But I like Cats, too.

My cat used to fetch a ball as well but once I met my wife and we moved in together the cat had a problem with the wife and would wait till my wife was watching and would then pee on the floor as she looked at her. We tried medicines in case it was a bladder problem but she did it when ever my wife was present so we had to take her to the humane society as we couldnt afford to keep buying new rugs and she was staining the floor everywhere. Hated to do it but it was the cat or the wife and it was a tough decision but I decided to keep the wife and I do believe she did give an ultimatum of the cat or me.

I would think most would agree that Cats & Dogs are different from one another (Hard to argue against that point), that both would be dependent on the master for the basics - Love, Food & Water, That BOTH make awesome companions! We have 1 of each! I cannot understand people that would give up a family member because of a new family arrival?!!?

Cats are seemingly less dependent or more so independent, they are definitely less maintenance. I couldn't imagine being without an animal cat or dog.

Well that answers my question about the Stripper Pole vs Exercise Pole, but you are never, ever supposed to use bare hands on a fire pole. At least, that was the rule back in the 18th century when I had to polish it.

I've always used bare hands. The secret is to grip the pole with your legs. I've only witnessed maybe half a dozen f/fs not use bare hands and they're all now in fire prevention or halls without poles.

Welcome aboard Chers1! The boat comes equiped with beverages and all the food you could eat. Unfortunately the crew frowns on bringing your own booze because they want you to buy theirs. Its about $7.00 a drink.

Our itinerary for this bass boat will be Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia, St Kitts, St. Maarten and back to Puerto Rico. Do you still want to go for a spin?

I'm surprised that more of the so called fishermen (new canadians) haven't been run over the way they run along and back and forth across the causeway.
