    I have been dabbling with fondant for a couple of years now and I just commissioned my first cake! I made a 1st birthday cake with matching smash cake.



    Now for nicer pics...although I cant rotate them, sorry you have to twist your head





    I will upload real camera pics later as I have some closeups of the lion I sculpted.
    I have never taken a course, I am 100% self taught

    Wow, looks great...i've been self teaching myself too, haven't tried the fondant yet, just icing cakes with wilton tips for birthday and occasions. you are very talented and the cake looks amazing, i'm sure it tasted just as good

    that soo sweet. I wish I was talented like that... lol on the other hand I have a sister who is self taught and makes faboulous cakes, cupcakes, cookies... lol everything... and a good friend who is just as amazing! Have you thought of taking a class? My friend is currently going to school for that kind of thing and my sister starts some classes next month!

    I just don't understand how you guys do it! super creative and super awsome!

    Thanks guys! For my dd's birthday last year I made a topsy turvy Alice in wonderland cake. Took me 18 hours. I sculpted the red queen, hatter, chescher cat, tweedles and rabbit. Alice was a mini barbie. They were my first experience sculpting anything. Since then I caught the bug.
    My ex manager was the one who ordered this cake, and his wife was so amazed by it she is spreading my name around her mommy groups. They are both insisting I get a facebook page for orders....we'll see LOL
