50% off ENTIRE Michael's purchase?

Hi...I just rec'd an email from Michaels with the heading "50% off entire purchase Thursday only", but when I clicked on the site and the coupons, it only showed a 50% off any ONE item?

Has anyone else rec'd this?

I don't get emails from them I don't think... but what if you printed off the email and took it in...they would have to honour it, no?

I was confused by that too! I got the same email and linked to the same coupon. Which was a bummer cause if ti was 50% off an entire purchase I'd probably be in there buying a years worth of canvases and supplies for DD.

I got that email too! I wonder if we could take the email in and have them follow through with the advertising in the email subject line? hmmmm...

i got the same email but it said 50% off entire purchcase friday.. but no info on it in the flyer

The email I just received said
"50% off any one regular price item - Friday only"

I just got an updated email from Michaels with the subject line saying "oops.... we got a little carried away". In the email it states that it isn't on the whole order, just one item for 50% off.

"Every now and then, us crafters goof ...

And unfortunately that's what happened with the subject line of our email blast. We're sorry about the confusion. Just to clarify, the email contains a coupon for 50 percent off one regular price item and a coupon for 30 percent off entire regular price purchase."

lol yea it was a typo, they sent out a retraction email saying they messed up, and FYI they wont be honouring the mistake coupon. (got info from someone who works there)
