There are three shows for which, no matter how many times I've seen a particular episode, I'll gladly watch over and over again - M*A*S*H, Seinfeld and The Office.

Has anyone seen the British version of The Office that launched Ricky Gervais into stardom? I have always intended to but somehow never got around to it. I also think it might taint my love for the American series, because you know you can never have too much Michael Scott -my all time fav is the office olympics because it reminds me of my days as a customs officer over at Terminal 1 where a few of us bored out of our skulls on a night shift stapled all the referral docs together to make sashes and waited to see if anyone noticed while we wore them at our counters.

In a zoo in California , a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tinysize, they died shortly after birth....etc...

I had to Snopes this story, and although the photos are real the whole 'surrogate cubs' story is bogus. This is a case of truth being stranger than fiction, check it out ...

My ex-wife started taking flying lessons about the time our divorce started and she got her license shortly before our divorce was final, later that same year.

Yesterday afternoon I got a phone call, that she narrowly escaped injury in the aircraft she was piloting. Seems she was forced to make an emergency landing in Hamilton because of bad weather. Thank God the kids weren't with her.

The FAA issued a preliminary report, citing pilot error: Shewas flying a single engine aircraft in IFR (instrument flight rating) conditions while only having obtained a VFR (visual flight rating) rating.

The absence of a post-crash fire was likely due to insufficient fuel on board. No one on the ground was injured.

The photograph below was taken at the scene to show the extent of damage to her aircraft.

She was really lucky.

The mother tiger, after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate another mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.
After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment.
Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only 'orphans' that could befound quickly were a litter of weanling pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger. Would they become cubs or pork chops??
