Congrats, Argo! I doubt the graph was much of a help, he threw you one right over the plate with $10k on the 4th grab. I'm soooo happy for you, especially that it takes care of university costs. When you scrape yourself off the ceiling I'm sure that you guys will be dancing around the house with silly grins on your faces for at least a week.

Constant headache since saturday morning, varying in degree. It's "non-urgent" according to Dr.'s though because my MRI isn't scheduled until May 24th. Probably migraines or something like that. What I don't get is why they can't assume that it's migraines, give me a prescription for that THEN if something different shows up on the MRI change the script?

Know exactly how you feel. I got a headache about 10 - 15 years ago and it has never left. When it gets extreme the only thing I can do is lie down as the pain pills will not help. If you can get someone to take you for the MRI, I suggest you do so and ask for the sedative that they will give you. I have had three and each one lasted around 45 minutes. It sounds like a VERY LOUD pacman game and you will be almost bonkers by the time you get finished. The only pain is a sore back from lying still so long. They did find an aneurysm but these do not cause headaches until they burst. My Doc said it would feel like a brick dropping on your head from ten stories up. Have had this operated on and the headaches have been getting worst. Sorry, but not much to look forward to.

Hey a serious technical question here; has anyone ever been put on 'standby' and then NOT been the contestant? I wonder if they simply tell you that you are one of three on standby so that there is still some spontaneity in your voice on the air.

I'm soooo pumped. Called hubby when I got the pre-call and set a plan. He jumped on-line to hear if I got the real call or not; he's the one that called the home number while I was still on air, as soon as the bells & whistles went off.

Apparently I need to apologize .... I asked him how I sounded - he said I sounded like a flake!! As a rule, I'm not flakey - pretty much think I was just really and truly (and apparently stupidly?) excited.

So, daughter's 4th year at university is now covered and I think they'll still be a good chunk of change left to go play some good golf. Well, good courses anyway, the good golf part is up to the golfing Gods on any given day!!

I'm pretty stoked!!!

THANK YOU ONE AND ALL FOR THE DCG WORDS. I'm pretty sure that having an estimated 98% of the announced words entered helped immensely in my chance of getting the call .... and I couldn't have reached that high a percentage without your help.

PS - My pre-live to air plan was to at least reach $5,001. Anything over $5k I was stashing!

My Mother received the Standby Call early on, but did not get the callback.
