Innappropriate mailing submissions

I enjoy receiving the daily deals from the moderators and have actually used several deals. I am impressed with the content and the timing of most of the submissions, however, I have an issue with some of the content in general.

In the most recent email, there was a submission about someone's experience voting and cell phone practice from those running the voting booth. I DON'T CARE to read about poeple's personal experiences or see family photos. GET A BLOG FOR THAT!

To the Moderators, please do all you can to prevent this JUNK from creeping into my email.

That is from the blog. We have ALWAYS posted random blogs, off topics, interest topics, how toos etc. I do find that this post is rude and offensive to the blogger that posted it as her writing is not junk, nor was there a "family photo". While your comments are appreciated there is a nice way to put them. I suggest skipping past the off topic blogs if you do not care to read them.

I have no problem with the blog on the website posting those things. I AGREE with the poster's feelings on the etiquette of the polling stations, but I do feel that it is irrelevant in the "Canadian freebies, coupons and deals" email that comes out.

In the past there have been family photos and opinions sent out through these posts that I find inappropriate and sometimes can be viewed as offensive. I am all for people sharing their opinions, just do it in the proper place - not an email targeted for deals, coupons, etc.

These submissions from the blog are quite often cute, but often they carry strong opinions that can offend or are very closed minded. If one wanted to view them, send out an email specifically to those who would sign up for a mailing list with highlights form the blog (Non- Deal Related).

I may have been rude, I apologize. But these additions to the emails really get my goat sometimes, and I ask the moderators to please stop adding them to the email.
