So, I spoke with the manager of North side store yesterday and she asked me to relay this message.

Please, please come shopping before 9pm if the store is closing at 10pm if you are planning to do major stacking. They had a stacker come into the store late in the evening and due to the long process of reading the coupons and some technical difficulty with interact the store was kept open well past close.

Because they pay the staff extra to stay longer it cost the store a lot of money. Please keep this in mind when shopping late. The stores may start turning us away if we shop to late in the evening.

Thanks, don't ruin it for the rest of us. We love stacking at LD. I don't know personally how I could live without it now that I've discovered the joy of stacking.

One that was mentioned to me by a manager is, dont come between 2 and 5 on the weekends cause they are really busy then, i appologized and assured him i will make sure we dont show up at that time in the future

Thanks for bringing this up. As a former cashier I can imagine that (despite maybe enjoying getting a little extra time) staying past 10pm to stack coupons could be less than desirable for the cashiers, too... I really enjoy the emphasis on this site of being respectful, discriminant shoppers!

I agree with LDs requests.

I also love going shopping at stores very early in the morning, they tend to be less busy. It's so peaceful it's like shopping underwater and the cashiers don't seem grouchy/tired that early.
