Or you can always buy a local one when you get to the destination.
Sometimes it can be cheaper. For instance, rate for China is 45 cents per minute which is way too expensive - you can literally get them for pennies per minute when you are in HK or in mainland.

Yeah their website seems to have problems lately (maybe too many ppl grabbing free sims lol) When it doesn't load i click refresh and it loads.
I did grab a local generic store card in France once - wasnt a great experience - half the time didnt work and since the store guy didnt speak much english i didnt get understand was i was getting really.
I prefer just using one of these sims + they have a Germany SIM (which im going to in july) that has free incoming calls and text! thats awesome!Last edited by monicag554; Thu, Apr 28th, 2011 at 02:59 PM.
