I just started coupon savings a month ago. Me and my spouse are budgeting and we had to cut down on a lot of things which lead me to this site. I realize the brags on here are way better then what I'm about to post but I want to see what you guys think.

I went to safeway today for the family discount day (10% or 10x am). I purchased a lot of cleaning and beauty supplies. Everything I bought was on sale, I refuse to buy anything regular price. I ended up with a $261.49 bill. With coupons I saved $29.74 and club card savings of $86.83 for a total of $116.57. My total bill after savings was $144.92,I saved 47% today.

This was by far the best I've done so far. Any tips?

thats pretty good... but i have to ask

    what did you buy?

    and

    where are you located?

for cleaning and beauty i always try to shop at walmart, shoppers or london drugs.... but if it had to do with some great airmiles i might be converted!!!
and i LOVE safeways discount bin and icecream!!!!
check out a trade bundle i have....

Good savings. I use lots of coupons at safeway when stuff is on sale. They just do not take printed coupons.

I used about 10-15 coupons and 4 were printed, listerene 3$, ziploc buy 2 get 4$ off, pledge multisurface B1G1 free, and windex B1G1 free.

It takes maybe a half hr longer to shop around and do the math, and about 10mins longer at the till. So I'm spending a little more time at the store but that's ok, it's worth it.

Great shopping. But if you are in Winnipeg you should try stacking at London drugs for your cleaning supplies etc. In time you will have coupons to stack togther to get the stuff for cheaper than Safeway. But if you don't have the coupons then 10% off day at Safeway is the way to go!
