Hi Everyone,
Just thought I would introduce myself a little further. I am a mother of one darling little boy and married to the best man ever. I started couponing when I had my LO last year as when I started getting the diaper coupons in the mail. I have always price matched my groceries but now I am taking it one step further with my coupons. I get some kind of a "high" from searching out the best deals and saving money.
I currently have all of my coupons sorted by category in envelopes but I am finding it not to be the best system. I would love to hear others ideas on organizing. (Sorry if this has been posted before, I did a search but did not see anything)
Thanks

Hi Kim, Im new here too but am planning to pick up a plastic cheque organizer (hopefully this weekend) to sort my coupons. Im currently in the envelope stage too and they are starting to look a little worse for wear
Something similar to this http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/31...organizer.html but only about 8x5" or so. I think you can pick them up at any of the office supply stores. Will post again once I have one with price and picture

I use something similar to the organizer pictured by MyCupcake but got mine at a Dollarama. It is small enough to carry places but large enough (for now) with 13 compartments to organize my coupons.

I use a makeup bag and cut out little dividers out of larger dividers. The inner lid has a zippered pocket that I keep my calculator, pen and scizzors in. So far it's working great - there is the potential to have room for thousands of coupons!

I am a binder girl..
I got a big zippered one from Staples ( back to school clearance section) and love it. I got my sports card holders at Dollarama (8 sheets for $1) and 4x6 photo sheets for the larger ones. I even have some sheet protectors for the full page printables...
I can see everything and I never leave a coupon at home.

Only thing I did different was go to my local sports card store. Got 100 sheets in the box for 19.99$
sides that all I need now is the tabs as I have them sorted Juice, condiments, meals, cereal, snacks and desert, baby items, etc etc.
I've only been doing this less then a month as well and started off with the organizer from the dollar store. I originally had them sorted by expiry date. that is the only flaw atm in my new system. But I have a price gun and the wife says I should just set it up and put the dates on the corners. Seems like a lot more work/money then needs to be spent.
