Stacking is when you use more than one coupon for a single product.

At Save On Foods (who allow stacking as there is only certain stores that allow stacking) the policy is:

You can use multiple coupons when they have different upc codes
They (combined) do not exceed the cost of the item (Mission store only as they will not adjust the price)
Do not contain phrasing that states they cannot be combined with another offer, coupon etc.
And are legitimate and valid Canadian coupon (meaning not expired and valid in Canada)

    So .....

VH Sauce is on for 3.69 each
    You have the following coupons:
    1.00 off UPC 123456
    .75 off UPC 654321
2.00 off when you buy 2 UPC 98765
2.00 off when you buy 2 UPC 56789

You would be able to purchase two with the following combination
    3.69x2 = 7.38

    2.00 WUB 2 UPC 56789
    2.00 WUB 2 UPC 98765
Two of the 1.00 UPC 123456
One of the .75 UPC 654321

    Total of coupons is 6.75

Total out of pocket would be .63 for both or 31.5cents each

Other locations are allowing coupon adjustments so for those you would use

    2.00 WUB 2 98765
    2.00 WUB 2 56789
    two 1.00 UPC 123456
    two .75 UPC 654321

Your total for coupons would be 7.50 however one of the .75 should be adjusted to .63

Total out of pocket would be nothing.
There is a thread on OFFICIAL coupon policy elsewhere on the forum, please read it!

Save-0n is not allowing different UPCs but DIFFERENT MEDIA sources. So lets not go in and expect something else...

At both locations I have gone to, they have allowed different UPC's. Multiple tear pad coupons that look the same but have different upc's and the attachment specifically states that as well.....

The term "different media sources" is the same at London drugs

I know, but if save-on food managers says different media not different UPCs lets respect that or it will collapse before it gets going.

It says in the memo (and is bolded) Different UPC's. Different UPC's constitute different sources

But I read it as different media sources first and then... it says it ALSO has to have different UPCs. So to me it sounds like if you have a tear pad and a mag. coupon and they happen to have the same UPC ( like that would happen!) then they won't take them. What is everyone else interpretation? I just don't want people to presume something and perhaps cause issues like what happened in Walmart.

I have spoken with a CSR at HO and multiple managers who read it the way I have. Different UPC's constitute a different source.

That being said the CSR stated that the policy is open to the interpretation of the manager at the store's location..... so I suppose it's really up to them.
