Just a note for anyone on the hunt - the MIR for Quaker are located in the entry way of the east side SS. There are two big pads of them on the large display of instant oatmeal - which is on sale for 2.50.
There are some great buys on Quaker products - check out the back of the MIR for participating brands. I was able to use a buy 2 instant oatmeals get one omega granola bar free (found a few weeks back on the coupon board). So for 5.00 you get 8.99 in purchase price (free granola bar is 2.99). Toss on another item (I opted for the $3 Corn Bran) and you will likely get your $10 MIR a few dollars less OOP. My OOP was 8.00 but my total purchase price was 10.99. I had a combination that worked to 9.99 with $7 OOP but then I was short .01!!! I didn't have a huge amount of time to strategies, so I'll live with the $8 expense.
There are enough brands participating that anyone could benefit from this MIR.

I always appreciate a reply to a thread. It gets lonely, otherwise.

I saw these the other day but I didn't grab any
but I think it may be worth it to pick up a few and buy some items for the MIR!!!
Are you guys planning on going to the SJKidFair today? We had planned on it but I think we may wait til next year when they are a little older and we won't have to use the double stroller because I'm thinking it will be insane there today!!!

You SHOULD do the MIR - it's fantastic. I mean, really, who can't use oatmeal, granola bars, or pancake mix. There are lots more items to pick from, but those were some of my highlights. I mean, it's free food and it keeps for a long time...why not?
We aren't going to the fair - we're going to a scavengerhunt/bbq with our church at the Irving Nature Park this afternoon and I thought it would be too much. It IS crazy, we went last year. You are wise to stay away until they are a bit older...unless you just want to go show off the kids and get Lily's face painted

I think I need to start keeping track of all my MIR's in a book b/c I have other ones being sent in (PC Formula) for our address, my parents sent it in, my aunt sent it in and my in laws sent it in, lol....I may have them do the same thing with this MIR
Have fun at the scavenger hunt/bbq!!! Both kiddies are napping right now so it gives me a chance to relax and also worry because I was crazy enough to tell my hubby he could go up in an airplane with his brother and someone from the flight club
He wanted to try out our new camera, lol....myself I'd prefer to try out the camera with both feet on the ground but he so badly wanted to go I couldn't decline.

There are a lot of Quaker products on sale this week that make it really easy to maximize what you get for the $10 spent. I have several address that I will be sending them to, so here are the items I bought to spend $10.
MIR #1 - 3 X Corn Bran @ $3 + Bran @ $1.56 = $10.56
MIR #2 - 5 X Granola bars @ $2 = $10
MIR #3 - 4 X Corn Bran @ $3 = $12
MIR #4 - 2 X 6 packs of Gatorade @ $5 = $10

I have no idea how to do a multi quote, though I am trying

Janey! I love those deals. I did this last week (like the FIRST day the MIR was available...I'm such a geek).
1. 2 Instant Oatmeals (2.50 each)
+ Fiber Omega Granola Bars (2.99 but used free WUB 2 instant oatmeals!!)
+ Corn Bran (3.00)
= 8.00 OOP but 10.99 on receipt
2. 2 Instant Oatmeals (2.50 each)
+ Fiber Omega Granola Bars (2.99 but used free WUB 2 instant oatmeals!!)
+ Corn Bran (3.00)
= 8.00 OOP but 10.99 on receipt
3. 2 Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix (2.99 each) - THEY ARE 2.50 this WEEK...rrrrrrrr!
+ Value pack of Chewy Granola Bars (4.99)
=10.97
I've got one more that I can use, but I've yet to settle on what that combo may be....I just might use your Gatorade one. DH drinks the stuff like mad after the gym. My 6 year old calls it "sweat juice".
CCMP1974 - no problem! I was happy to be able to share something of value with you for a change

And that was an epic fail on the multi quote. Well, I hope you all appreciate my public humiliation
Laugh amongst yourselves.

It took me a year to figure it out!!! You first click the multi-quote button on all the posts you want to multi-quote.They you go all the way to the bottom where you would post your reply and you click just below the last post on the left hand side a grey post reply button.Hope this works for you.
