Safeway stacking!?!?!

I just read this post on a facebok page, by a woman who says she stacks all the time at safeway and lots of other stores in canada as well - anyone else try this?? here is the link to the comment......

Jennifer: Sorry Christina but my sister had worked for safeway for 12 years and I am sure she knows get store policy since she trains news plotted all the time, I even asked for a copy of their policy and it CLEARLY states the use of more than one coupon per item is strictly prohibited! Maybe you should read it!

Safeway will take 1 electronic coupon and 1 manufacturing coupon per item. Also if you have multiples of the same item and a coupon for each they will accept all of them.

Safeway can stack like the most RCSS do, but cannot stack like LD does.

And I don't believe that electronic coupons are in Canada *yet* but they are in the works

I can't find a single receipt that shows her "stacking" at Safeway.

I called a safeway in kamloops area and they don't stack , but i heard there store is goin to start in the future, but that's rumors right.

I posted the safeway coupon policy in the coupons thread and it clearly states that they DO NOT stack coupons,

The reciept only proves savvy coupon usage. I have had reciepts showing 100% savings when I bought only trial sized dog food, nd used a coupon for the full value.

I would personally LOVE to see Safeway (Canada) do double coupon days, like they do in the US!

I agree the pic doesn't show anything other than savvy coupon usage. If she is indeed stacking I would like to know at what location.

She is in Medicine Hat AB - I have called all three and there is definitely one in her area that does allow it! I was floored! It's located at

Though I suspect that it will be shortlived as it was posted on fb
