Hi all, I am brand new to the world of couponing, but as money is stretched to its limit at my house, I decided to give it a whirl and I'm already pretty addicted. I actually dreamed about couponing last night, lol, but I'm sure the "Extreme Couponing" marathon that TLC played last night helped that a little

Welcome to SC! You'll find lots of helpful people on here. Before you try to dive in, I would suggest reading through some of the FAQ and the stickies (posts that are always at the top of a forum).

You will want to learn about the acronyms before you drive yourself nuts, LOL, and also to read up on price matching with flyers (and which stores in your area do so), how to correctly use coupons and make it easiest for yourself and the cashier (some places won't take printables - coupons you print out at home - and some have no problem; some will apply any remaining value of the coupon to the rest of your items (overages), etc.).

I personally always highlight all the relevant info for the cashiers on my coupons, it makes them easier to read, the fine print is small!

It can be a lot of fun, and saving money feels great, no matter what your reason for couponing is. Enjoy!
